At Boards & More Group, sustainability is understood as a continuous process and part of the corporate strategy, not as a temporary project.

We move forward step by step, sometimes with larger, sometimes with smaller steps, the important thing is that we maintain the direction.

We are also working on making our largest sites climate-neutral by 2028 , reducing employee mobility (travel to work and business trips) to a necessary minimum, and continuously improving our facility management (heat, electricity, water, waste).

At Boards & More Group, we are currently working to establish ILO-compliant contracts with all of our suppliers and production facilities that specify minimum wages, exclude child labor, require certain insurance policies, and demand and promote the continuous improvement of social and environmental standards.

Jobrad since 2019

Since 2019, the job bike offer has given employees the opportunity to lease a bike for their commute and leisure time at attractive conditions. Maintenance and insurance are also covered by the company.

Clean up Days 2019 - 2024

From 2019 to 2024, Boards&More will organise annual Clean Beach Days to raise awareness of the pollution of the world's oceans and to contribute to the preservation of our 'playgrounds', the beaches. Together with our partners around the world, thousands of tonnes of waste have been collected. In 2024, the Clean Beach Days concept was developed into the Clean Playground Code of Conduct.

CO2 offset from 2018 - 2024

The cooperation with Climate Partner to offset CO2 began in 2018 with the aim of making production processes, products and their transport more climate-friendly. Over the years, B&M has offset 60,500 tonnes of CO2 through climate protection programmes. In 2024, we decided to stop the carbon offset project in order to focus on effective and sustainable climate protection measures, such as using sustainable and/or recycled materials, extending the life cycle of our products through repair and promoting a circular economy. The Concept Blue product line is a flagship project in this respect.

packaging since 2018

In 2018, we at Boards & More Group started to make a conscious effort to reuse packaging and cardboard boxes in our warehouses. To date, this has prevented waste every year. Furthermore, by changing the product packaging, huge savings have been made on all products across all brands. In total, these changes currently save Boards & More Group 3 tons of paper/cardboard and 22 tons of plastic per year.

energy audit 2016

Since 2016, we have made sustainability an integral part of the Boards & More Group corporate strategy. The first step on our path was an energy audit for the main sites, which led to the implementation of initial Small but significant measures: green electricity, paper reduction, waste separation, optimization of light sources.

Boards & More Group bikes since 2016

In the same year, we launched Boards & More Group's first bicycle campaign - all employees at the main locations were encouraged to cycle to work as often as possible. Result after the first 6 months: > 15.000 bike-km, which were of course therefore not done by car - keep up the good work Boards & More Group!

On all our packaging, you will find international material codes that help you dispose of the packaging correctly and learn more about the material used. We use either paper materials or plastic materials for our packaging. We continuously strive to increase the proportion of recycled raw materials in our packaging.

Remove adhesive tapes and other foreign materials before disposal

Reuse:

We recommend reuse for private purposes. Otherwise, recycle through the paper bin.

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

Manufacturers must participate in extended producer responsibility systems. This means:

Recycling financing: EPR systems contribute to financing the collection, sorting and recovery of our packaging

Registration: Packaging must be registered with the relevant national authorities

Reporting: Manufacturers regularly report the quantities of packaging placed on the market

We continuously work on optimizing our packaging for better recyclability.

Through your correct disposal, you support this cycle and contribute to environmental protection.

Why are there different codes on one package?
When packaging consists of different materials (e.g., cardboard with plastic film), each material receives its own code.

What does it mean when no recycled content is indicated?
Without indication, the recycled content is 0% - the packaging consists of new material.

Can I dispose of all plastics together?
