Accessibility Statement
Commitment to Digital Accessibility
B&M Group is committed to making its digital services accessible to all users. Our measures are based on the European standard EN 301 549 (version 3.2.1), which fully references the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA. These standards define the technical requirements for accessible use of websites and mobile applications.
Compliance Status
This website is partially compliant with EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 AA. This means that a large portion of the requirements has been met, but some areas still need improvement.
Partial compliance is permissible as long as barriers are transparently documented and improvements are implemented on an ongoing basis, in accordance with the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG).
Known Barriers
Despite our efforts to achieve full accessibility, the following limitations may currently exist:
Some PDF documents or older content are not yet fully structured for accessibility.
In some cases, video content may not include complete captions or audio descriptions.
Certain interactive elements or filters may have limited keyboard accessibility.
In some areas, contrast ratios or alternative text may require improvement.
These barriers are known and scheduled for remediation. Maintaining transparency about existing limitations aligns with the recommendations of the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
